7th grade students participated in a Wellness Check to kickoff the year’s STEM campaign. The goal is to emphasize the practice of good health habits and to motivate students to make positive changes for themselves. at the beginning of the school year. Professionals volunteered their time to check vitals, to educate students on7th grade students listened during a presentation from our corporation Food Services Director, Mrs. Lisa Adams. Mrs. Adams shared information about laws she has to abide by when purchasing food and making menus for student meals. All 7th grade students prepared questions for Mrs. Adams and student representatives shared those questions and concerns in a ‘talk show’ format.Students were educated about the importance of organic food growth and its health benefits.Student teams presented STEM project presentations to students, staff and community stakeholders.
